YNGLŶN Â 'R GERDDORIAETH

                  ABOUT THE MUSIC

Ar hyn o bryd ceir tri chynnyrch yn y gyfres arfaethedig o ddeg. Mae pob un yn cynnwys CD a llyfryn, am £12 ynghyd a p. & p.

Mae pob CD yn cynnwys 15 o'r emynau gorau a genid yn ein capelau dros 200 o flynyddoedd. Cynhyrchwyd hwy gan Sain i gyfeilliant organ, gan gorau cymysg ardderchog, sy'n dwyn i  gof y seiniau yr ydym wedi eu clywed a'u hoffi.

Mae pob llyfryn yn cynnwys geiriau a cherddoriaeth yr emynau, ynghyd â nodiadau byrion yn Gymraeg a Saesneg, sydd yn dod yn fyw y cyfansoddwyr a'r awduron arbennig hynny, sydd wedi creu yr etifeddiaeth hon a chenedl o gân.

Mae clywed y canu hwn yn llesmeiriol, gan ddyrchafu'r enaid gyda ffynhonnell diderfyn o bleser - yn enwedig pan fyddwch yn teithio mewn car. Bydd y set llyfrau yn harddu pob silff lyfrau wrth i chi ychwanegu at y casgliad unigryw hwn a fydd yn creu ettifeddiaeth  barhaol.

                                                                                        ~~~
Currently there are three products in the proposed series of ten. Each one consists of a CD and booklet, for £12 inclusive of p. & p. in the  UK.
Each  CD contains 15 of the best of the hymns which have been sung in the chapels of Wales for 200 years and more. They are recorded on the Sain label, to organ accompaniment, by notable choirs of men and women.
Each booklet contains the words and music of the hymns, accompanied by short notes in Welsh and English which bring to life those extraordinary composers and authors of our heritage, who created a nation of song. Each CD is sung by a well-known choir to organ accompaniment, replicating the sounds that have been heard across Wales each Sunday.
To hear this singing is euphoric, lifting the soul with a never ending source of joy and pleasure –  particularly rewarding when travelling by car. This set of books will grace every bookshelf as you build up this unique collection and create a lasting legacy
The Hoff Emynau project has been initiated by Ted Clement-Evans a sixth generation Welshman living in Liverpool.  Ted’s grandfather and great grandfather were two of the prominent Welsh builders in Liverpool in the 19th century. On finding his grandfather’s diary, started in 1894, and discovering that much of his life followed in his grandfather’s footsteps, Ted has written a story of their lives. For anyone interested in the Welsh builders of Liverpool, the ‘Tale of Two Teds’ may be found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tale-Two-Teds-Builders-Liverpool/dp/1910352012
